cliff temple is a singer/songwriter who has created a unique sound that he describes as "rural roots rock"- music with a country feel & a rock beat that always tells a story. he plays 99% original music, but has been known to cover a few of his favorite artists- van morrison, john mellencamp, marshall tucker, to name a few. 

     in cliff's music, you will find down-to-earth intuitive stories with attractive & sensitive rhythms. as for his voice, well, it's been compared to a head-on collision between merle haggard & van morrison, with a side-swipe of steve earle. mr gary holder, director of entertainment for the texarkana quadrangle festival, said of cliff's sound, "its on the cutting edge- something no one else is doing".
